Get paid to train for a career in Early Years
Gain a Level 2/3, or other industry recognised qualification
The Treehouse Club Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club is a friendly, growing Early Years chain in Essex that offers outstanding outdoor based Nurseries, Preschools & Out of School Clubs across 6 settings in Billericay, Brentwood, Great Totham, Ingrave and Wickford.
We are committed to delivering a holistic, educational curriculum and high-quality care for our children.
We thrive on being outdoors as much as possible and giving the children a forest-based education of adventure, so if you are looking to start a career in Early Years education and have a passion for the outdoors then an apprenticeship with The Treehouse Club is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career.
Why Choose an Apprenticeship?
For those new to Early Years education, an apprenticeship is a great opportunity to acquire real world experience in an Early Years setting whilst working towards an industry recognised qualification (which could result in a full time role with The Treehouse Club or similar Early Years care provider)
A fantastic benefit of an apprenticeship is earning a salary whilst you complete your qualification.
For those further along in their Early Years career, we can also offer a Level 5 apprenticeship, where your existing experience and knowledge within the industry can be expanded on and developed further as you take on a more senior role within one of our active and well-established settings.
How Does an Apprenticeship Work?
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship, you will be assigned your own tutor to support you through your qualification, as well as undertaking some independent learning.
The course is made up of two parts – the main part of the course is comprised of units that are based on your skills, knowledge and behaviours that you gain through your role within one of our settings. You will be assessed through a mix of ‘at home’ and ‘at work’ tasks that you will provide evidence for on your online portfolio.
At the end of your apprenticeship you will undergo an End Point Assessment which consists of a multiple-choice test around your skills, knowledge and behaviours and a professional discussion, supported by the portfolio that you will have developed throughout your apprenticeship.
