Drop-Off and Collection
How will my child be taken to school in the morning?
Breakfast Club children will be walked round to their playgrounds and taken to the appropriate area to line up for their class. The staff members will remain on the playgrounds until all children have been taken into their classrooms by the teacher.
How will my child be collected from School?
Collection for the After School Club will be direct from the classrooms for KS1 children.
A staff member in a Treehouse Club Hi-Viz will be on the KS2 playground for children, ready to collect KS2 children when they are released by their classroom teacher.
Health and Nutrition
There is a full kitchen on site and therefore we will be able to provide a cooked tea each night to the Out of School Club children. A full menu would be provided, and menus are able to be adapted to cater for all allergies and medical needs.
We will provide breakfast to all Breakfast Club children and this will be a choice of cereals and/or whole meal toast.
All our Staff have Food Hygiene training, and we follow all Environmental Health guidelines.
Before and After School Club
Benefits to Parents and Children
Being situated on the school grounds, specifically for infants, the afterschool club offers a familiar environment for the children. This familiarity contributes to a sense of security and comfort. Moreover, the mixed-age setting promotes the development of friendships that may not naturally occur during regular school hours. This inclusive environment encourages social interaction and collaboration among children of different ages, enriching their overall experience at the afterschool club.
We actively involve the children in decision-making processes by soliciting their input on preferred resources based on their interests.
Staff provide detailed handovers upon collection, ensuring transparency and peace of mind. Our flexible collection policy accommodates parents’ schedules, including arrangements for afterschool club pickups and event attendance.
Parents/carers benefit from the setting’s location on the school grounds, providing familiarity with the layout and surroundings.
Our dedicated phone line enables direct communication between parents and staff, fostering seamless coordination.
Our separate room on-site allows for easy pick-up and drop-off.
Parents can conveniently access information about their child’s activities and meals through our online journal app.
