Why full-time nursery school for 2-and-3-year-olds is such a crucial part of their learning journey

When it comes to nursery school education, here at The Treehouse Club we’re all about providing an outstanding, holistic curriculum that affords our children access to indoor and outdoor learning experiences that include taking the classroom to the forest, to the beach and out and about for fun-packed experiences and day trips. And while on the face of it it might not seem like a traditional kind of ‘learning’, we know that our little ones pick up all the skills they need when it comes to a more formal classroom environment down the line when they graduate to ‘big school’. Arming 2-and-3-year-olds with the confidence to team build, perfect their motor skills, pick up early numeracy and literacy skills and gift them the ability to discover the world around them is a huge part of our school readiness programme. We are always so proud that when our small students leave us for reception they are ready and excited to get on with the next part of their educational adventures. Read our new blog to find out why full time nursery school for your children can make a big difference in their learning journey…

Why The Treehouse Club?

When we’re not busy learning in the great outdoors or in our indoor learning zones, you’ll find us in our own allotment where children love getting to grips with growing fruit and veggies while picking up social skills and becoming naturally curious little learners. And if we’re not puddle jumping, counting leaves on trees, or studying critters in our Bug Hotel, then we can usually be found elbow deep in sensory and creative activities in our lovely indoor settings.

We are extremely proud of the fact that we provide the only setting in the south that delivers the level of outdoor education that we do: an education that enables our children to achieve academic success that is statistically above the national average across the seven areas of learning when applied to reception-aged children.
