5 reasons to send your kids to the Treehouse Holiday Club this half term

Holiday Club + Kids = Happy Memories

We are just over a week away from the end of this half term so we’re all about sending our 5 -11 year-olds to the Treehouse Holiday Club for lots of February fun, and here’s why…

  1. It helps boost self-esteem

With so much time spent at home this past couple of years with us parents, the chances are the kids have become far too reliant on us doing stuff for them! At Holiday Club they will have the chance to pick up some rather cool new skills, from rock-climbing to den-building, which will not only give them a huge boost of self-esteem, but also the independence and confidence they need to learn new things without us parents giving them a nudge. Think how proud they’ll be when they come home to tell you they caught a fish!

2. They’ll make new friends

“A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside.”  Winnie the Pooh

We like Winnie the Pooh’s thinking, and the Treehouse Holiday Camp will certainly be full of new people to meet, and if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that friends, new and old, are super important. There will be all kinds of kids to hang out with, and, going on previous experience, we know that new friendships will form thick and fast!

3. Screen-free adventures guaranteed!

We pride ourselves on our outdoor education ethos and our Holiday Camps are all about Forest School and the great outdoors. We’re talking screen-free fun in the fresh air packed with adventures and learning experiences that will help little ones foster a love for nature and spending time outside. They’ll be learning some rather cool new things without even realising they’re learning! Win, win.

4. It keeps them busy!

We all know that bored kids are not fun to be around, and that’s where we come in… busy is our game and our busy is all about keeping kids occupied with age-appropriate activities that won’t give them a chance to be bored! From team-building exercises to art and craft sessions, nature walks to aerial treetop walks, there’s an activity for everyone at the Treehouse Holiday Club!

5. They get to make special memories

Kids don’t remember the school holidays that they spent sat at home watching TV, they remember the ones where they played games in the forest, picked up new skills like archery, took part in challenges and outdoor pursuits, and were active and occupied with their friends. That’s what the Treehouse Holiday Camp is all about: good old fashioned outdoor fun, where boredom is busted, new friends are made, team-building is, well, built, and children come home to their parents smiling and proud of all the adventures they had that day. Also, they’ll be tired: you’re welcome.

Sessions kick off on 14th February and will run through until 18th February but do book early to save disappointment: numbers are limited to keep your children and our fantastic staff Covid-secure, so spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
