The Treehouse Club Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club is a friendly, growing nursery chain in Essex that offers outstanding outdoor based nursery, pre-school, out of school clubs and holiday club.

We are committed to delivering holistic educational curriculum and high-quality care; to create a community of resilient active children, empowered by valuing, enjoying and being curious about their natural and social surroundings.

Our staff are at the very heart of delivering this experience to our little Treehouse Club members, giving them experiences and memories that will shape their lives forever in the most positive way.

We thrive on being outdoors as much as possible and giving the children a forestry based educational adventure, so a willingness to have fun in the forest is essential. Level 3 – Early Years Practitioner

Norsey Woods | Billericay // St Nicholas Church Hall | Ingrave

Working Pattern: Full Time, Year Round // 09:00-16:00 5 days a week, Term Time

Our Early Year’s Practitioners are the heart of our pre-schools, delivering an experience to our little Treehouse Club members, that will shape their lives in the most positive way.

Your role will include being a key worker for a small group of children, providing high-quality education and learning whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of children within the setting.

Key Responsibilities 

• Be responsible as a Key Worker for a number of children.

• Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures.

• Plan with other room staff and deliver a range of activities for the children.

• Attend advertising events on a rota basis.

• To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the nursery. 

• To implement and maintain the company’s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory. 

• Ensure that your key children settle in and complete progress checks.

• Complete all sharing information forms for your key children.

• To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures. 

• Notify the Room Leader of any complaints received or situations that may be detrimental to the company, agree on actions to resolve issues and implement accordingly. 

• Create strong parent relationships, including attending parents’ evenings.

• Complete any designated responsibilities for SENCO, ENCO and H&S Officer roles assigned to you.

Apprenticeship

Norsey Woods, Billericay

Key Responsibilities 

• Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures.

• Assisting in delivering a range of activities for the children.

• Ensure all course work is up to date.

• Complete all instructions set by line managers.

• Comply with Health and safety at work act.

Room Leader

Dollymans Farm, Wickford

Key Responsibilities 

  • Be responsible as a Key Worker for several children.
  • Update children journals and check room staff journals for quality observations.
  • To ensure responsibility for the effective daily management of the nursery alongside the Deputy/Nursery Manager, stepping in to lead in the absence of the Deputy.
  • Room set up must reflect the age of the children. each room must show clear numeracy and literacy activities, dedicated finger gym, activities on each table and local pictures of the area.
  • Parent partnership is highly important home learning packs should be made for the room and numeracy and literacy books to be shared regularly.
  • Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, Statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times.

Afterschool Club Manager

St Peter’s Primary School | Brentwood

Working Pattern: 14:30-18:30 5 days a week, Term Time

Key Responsibilities

• To manage the provision of the after club ensuring that children, parents, and the staff team work together to provide high-quality childcare adhering to all policies and procedures.

• To be responsible for the management of day-to-day financial operations within the club, by meeting financial targets and managing the setting budget.

• To manage a staff team effectively.

• To agree and set Club goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets.

• To ensure that all paperwork is completed and is up to date such as health care plans, allergy plans and register audits.

• Always ensure compliance with registration and legislative requirements.

• To ensure that the nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.

• Ensure the company works towards our ethos, visions, and goals.

• To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Club.

• To implement and maintain the company’s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents, and the staff team are valued, and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.

• To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.

Level 3 – Afterschool Club Nursery Practitioner

Working Pattern: 15:00-18:30 5 days a week, Term Time

Key Responsibilities

• To manage the provision of the after club ensuring that children, parents, and the staff team work together to provide high-quality childcare adhering to all policies and procedures.
